Siena Dute and Cadin O’Connor are bringing a new kind of funk to Northern Colorado. Their homegrown apparel initiative Rood Roots prompts wearers to channel their inner esoteric weirdo while normalizing sustainable manufacturing and packaging with a portion of all profits going to environmental conservation and restoration efforts.

Launching with a minimalist selection of accented tees and pants, the first Rood Roots collection sources its inspiration from the realm of cartoon animation, sprinkled with a pinch of Eastern mysticism. Made to feel comfy on the couch and at the rave.

The company’s sustainability efforts include a print-on-demand business model for zero waste, sourcing apparel manufactured in the USA, curbside recyclable (no plastic) shipping packaging, and selling on Etsy - a B Corporation that pays carbon offsets for all shipping via their platform. Additionally, Rood Roots contributes 5% of sales to The Nature Conservancy, a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to environmental conservation and restoration in over 70 countries.
